Ruben Studdard Joins “The Biggest Loser” + 5 Other TV Stars Who Dropped Pounds
“American Idol” winner Ruben Studdard is the latest celebrity looking to shed some pounds, and he will be the first to be featured on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”
According to the LA Times, production for season 15 has already started at a ranch in Los Angeles, and Studdard is being whipped into shape by coaches Bob Harper, Dolvett Quince and Jillian Michaels.
Studdard won “American Idol” back in 2003 when he was up against Clay Aiken. Because of his size he was affectionately called “The Velvet Teddy Bear” during the contest.
Considering the nature of their show and the fact that each contestant trains like beasts, we will be sure he will lose tons of weight.
